    Revolution controls tick infestations only due to the American Dog Tick (Dermacentor variabilis), a tick commonly found on dogs. There are other common species of ticks that are not killed or controlled by Revolution.

    Comparing "Stronghold" with "Revolution", I notice that the former claims effectiveness against hook and round worms, while the latter is silent on that subject. Considering that the active ingredient is supposedly the same, why the discrepancy?

    The product is exactly the same. They are only repackaged for different countries. So the ingredients and dosage are the same, therefore will do the same task.
