    Is the idea of 6 chews to cover peak months of the year? ex May through October.

    Nexgard spectra protects from Ticks, Fleas, Heartworm, Roundworms, Hookworms and Whipworms. We strongly recommend consulting with your vet to determine the most suitable options for your pet's specific needs as this may vary for each animal, health condition, and any potential allergies. As with all heartworm medications, this is a preventative measure and it is important that your dog is first tested for existing heartworm.

    I have some leftover nexgard spectra for dogs from 3.6 to 7.5 kg. If I want it to give it to someone that has a larger dog, can they give him the equivalent number of pills to Match his weight?

    Nexgard Spectra monthly chew can: kill fleas, kill ticks (including Rocky Mountain wood tick, brown dog tick), heartworm, and control roundworms, hookworms and whipworms. It does not advise to treat mange.
